Current engagement

Role
Business Analysis and Delivery Consultant
Period
July 2026 to present
Industry
Accounts payable automation
Setting
Australian businesses and bookkeepers

AirDoc AI had a product and an advertising budget but no customers. I reset the go-to-market strategy, delivered the first enterprise implementation and grew the customer base from zero to more than 50.

The company

AirDoc AI automates accounts payable for Australian businesses and bookkeepers. It picks up supplier invoices from email and WhatsApp, extracts and validates the data, and posts it into accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks and MYOB.

Resetting go-to-market

When I started, the product had no customers despite spending roughly $3,000 a month on advertising. I analysed where enquiries were stalling, refocused the strategy on the trades segment and defined the go-to-market plan to win the first 50 customers. The customer base has since grown past 50.

The first enterprise implementation

I delivered AirDoc AI's first enterprise implementation, for Mutual Trust. Before specifying anything, I documented their existing payables workflows and the client specific details the automation had to respect.

Meeting people where they work

For the trades segment I built a companion mobile application, and I extended the platform into email and WhatsApp so information reaches people in the channels they already use.

Measuring what matters

I built self-populating Google Looker dashboards over exception and validation data, along with campaign, social and application data, to find bottlenecks, measure throughput and decide where to automate next.

Alongside the growth work, I run requirements analysis and delivery management for the product.
