Setting
End to end, from brief to production

I designed, developed and deployed the BadStreams platform end to end, taking it from an ambiguous brief to a working product in production.

The company

BadStreams is a sponsorship platform that connects live streamers with brands. Brands publish advertising campaigns, and streamers add sponsor overlays to their live broadcasts on platforms like Kick and Twitch, getting paid for verified on-screen visibility.

From an ambiguous brief

The brief was open ended, so I started by turning it into documented requirements and prototypes, and got the client's sign off before any development began.

The campaign workflow

BadStreams is a digital asset management platform for advertising campaigns. I designed the briefing to sign off workflow, which captures campaign requirements from the advertising company and carries them through an approval loop to sign off and production.

Paying streamers for real views

I wrote the monetisation logic. It pulls proof of play and view time data from Kick and Twitch through API and WebSocket integrations to calculate what each streamer has earned. The platform also integrates with broadcast software, including OBS.

Ready for people to use

I produced user guides and videos so brands and streamers could get started on their own.
